BPW's History

Founded in 1919, BPW/USA was the first among women's organizations to formally endorse the Equal Rights Amendment and has led the drive for ratification ever since.

Today, BPW/USA continues to work for pay equity, civil rights, and health issues for women and thus for all.

When you join BPW, you join an organization that demonstrates the true strength and diversity of American's women in the work place. Members represent every age group, race, religion, political and socioeconomic background.
